Gordon Energy was again selected by Green Homes, Inc. to be one of the elite sub-contractors for the television show "Extreme Home Makeover".  We installed the silt fence, drain tile, Tuff-N-Dri/Warm-N-Dri waterproofing & sump pump.  We completed our work in about 30 minutes.  The Jacobos family of 12 was the recipient of this new 5100 sq ft house.  The television show is tentatively scheduled to air on May 13.

Attention to builders in Olathe.  This applies only to walkouts.  The city of Olathe has changed their codes.  They will no longer allow solid PVC to be bracketed/suspended to the wall and backfilled/covered with dirt.  Instead the PVC must be perforated, the overdig backfilled with dirt to just below the PVC, and the perforated PVC covered with 1' foot of clean gravel. They insist on seeing this portion of the draintile system installed in this manner and is conditional to passing your prebackfill inspection!  If you have any questions regarding this new code please give your Gordon salesman a call.

With our steady growth over last several years Gordon Energy finally outgrew our building at 15560 S Keeler.  We spent a good part of 2005 constructing our new building.  Our new address is 15735 S Mahaffie Rd.  We moved in on November 1st.

Gordon Energy was one of the exclusive sub-contractors chosen by Green Homes, Inc. for the ABC hit television show "Extreme Makeover Home Edition".  The Gordon workers installed the drain tile, Tuff-N-Dri waterproofing, Warm & Dri drainage board in only 20 minutes.  We also installed a heavy duty sump pump and silt fence for erosion control.  We were very happy to donate this service to the Johnson Family in appreciation for his contributions to the community and his family.  View pictures and additional info at:  Extreme Home Makeover
