CRACK REPAIRS Depending on the situation crack repairs may need to be made from the inside or the outside of your basement. We have many products at our disposal for repairing a basement crack. One of our experts can diagnose your problem and recommend the best product for your specific needs. Below are some of our common products & services. 3-M CHEMICAL GROUT INJECTION We offer a 2 year warranty on crack injection. We use a product made by the 3-M COMPANY called 3-M GROUT 5600. This product is designed to be used on newer homes. The product is foam like and cures to a rubber. We prefer the CHEMICAL GROUT over EPOXY for most of our applications. Since most of the time we are injecting cracks on homes that are new, we feel that those cracks have not fully settled. Because CHEMICAL GROUT is rubber and flexible, the crack will be allowed to fully settle while keeping it from leaking. OUTSIDE CRACK REPAIRS We can fix your crack from the outside by digging down along the foundation with post-hole diggers. Once the crack is exposed, we spread PLASTIC ROOF CEMENT over the crack and then place a piece of roofing paper over the PLASTIC CEMENT. We then backfill the crack. We can do this on cracks up to 8’ in length. However, this process is more effective when the crack is 4’ or shorter. Since we are using post-hole diggers, it can be difficult to see the bottom of an eight-foot crack. We do not offer a warranty for an outside crack repair. For
