Gordon Energy has been the #1 sump pump & battery back up sump pump installer in Kansas City for years. We install sump pumps for the majority of the home builders in the Kansas City area. We pride ourselves on our next day service and our ability to quickly & professionally install your sump pump without trouble so you can keep the building process moving. The sump pump is technically part of the drain tile system. Let the experts do the job right. Let the plumbers do what they know best and leave the sump pump to us. Here is what we do as part of any sump pump install or service.
Kansas City Sump Pump Installation: Our standard duty sump pump is our energy efficient Little Giant ES-33.Even though it is energy efficient it does give up anything on performance. This pump is still able to pump 2400 gallons per hour (PGH) at 10’ of head. This sump pump also has an effluent capability of handling 3/8” solids. This could help the pump discharge small rocks & dirt without damage to the pump. We also carry the Little Giant ES40 for extreme cases where the water table is high or you have an underground spring nearby. This sump pump will pump 3600 GPH at 10’ of head. For certain homeowners you might also consider having us install a battery back up sump pump. Our best recommendation for most home homeowners that have a high risk basement is with our StormPro 2100 battery back up sump pump. This battery back up sump pump will help protect you in the case of a power outage, mechanical failure, or if the primary pump becomes overwhelmed. We would be happy to discuss any of our products or services with your homeowner to help them make the right choices so they can protect their basement.
![]() We use our Little Giant ES33D sump pump for most installs. At 2400 gallons per hour at 10’ head it has plenty of capacity for all, but the most extreme situations. It has an internal float so there are no moving parts such as a float that can get stuck. It is also capable of pumping 3/8” solids such as small dirt & gravel that may enter the draintile system. It is also very efficient by drawing only 5.0 full load amps. Much lower than the industry average. (more specs on this pump) |
![]() For extreme situations where you need very high pumping capacities our Little Giant ES40 should be able to handle it. It will pump 3600 gallons per hour at 10’ of head. It is the bigger brother of the ES33D so it has many of the same features. It uses the same internal float, is energy efficient and can handle solids up to 2”. (more specs on this pump) |
